For millennia, humans have sought to understand consciousness. They seek to understand biological and philosophical existence—a pursuit fundamental to the human condition.
In the age of AI and generative models, we are turning toward computer systems in “search” of answers to our deepest questions. Without a hint of irony, we believe that man-made machines and generative language models can “prompt self-discovery.”
True to form, we seek the quick fix, while forgetting that life is full of unknowns. From the myopic view of our keyboard, we understanding without experience.
