I am thrilled to announce that I will participate in the UCDA Design Education Summit: Immerse. I will present the paper Personal Agency: A Starting Point for Scoping BFA Capstone Projects.
I will also serve on the panel Design Workshops as Transformative Teaching Tool. This panel is chaired by Dr. Rachael Paine, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Virginia Tech University. The panel will also feature Bree McMahon, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Arkansas University; Heather Snyder Quinn, Assistant Professor of Design, Artificial Intelligence, Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University; and Ashley Anderson, Ph.D. student and North Carolina State University.
The event will occur at the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus in Mesa, Arizona, May 20–22, 2024.
